Ooh yes the very present grids do kind of create that boardgame or tabletop RPG kind of feeling. Not intentional but I like that as a viewpoint.
Love this insight into your process, I always wondered about these letters and how you made/applied them.
I have sometimes also used lettering stencils or drawn more complex letterforms by hand but I do like the prefab nature of the vinyl letters.
